The Driver Development department once again expands the possibilities of intervention with an update dedicated to one of the most widespread units of the Fiat group: the Marelli MJ8DF. Featured on the Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 16V Multijet 75HP (with fixed geometry turbo), this turbo-diesel engine represents a perfect balance between efficiency and versatility, appreciated both in urban environments and on long journeys.
Now the new Drivers allow extremely optimized management from every point of view: maximum detail in recalibration.

Why does this update make a difference?
Thanks to these implementations, you now have additional maps and special functions available:
- TURBO PRESSURE LIMITER
- REV LIMITERS
- GLOW PLUG PREHEATING TIME
- IMMOBILIZER
- HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP
Turbo pressure limiter: updated with the new main maximum limiter of the ECU. Essential for applications with upgraded turbos or to reach higher pressures compared to the classic limiter based on atmospheric pressure.
Rev limiters: added maps to enable the hardcut rev-limiter, allowing precise control over the engine’s maximum RPM.
Glow plug preheating time: these maps allow significant improvement of cold starts, extending the glow plug heating time until the optimal temperature is reached.
Immobilizer: allows you to replace the ECU without operating in BOOT mode, useful when the original unit cannot be read due to damage.
High-pressure pump: dedicated maps for calibrating upgraded high-pressure pumps, ideal in combination with upgraded turbos, to manage the amount of fuel required to generate very high pressures.
