ECM Titanium Update!

New ECM Titanium Drivers for BMW F800GS and Yamaha MT-09: more control and tuning freedom in every condition.

Unlock the full potential of the Bosch ME17.2.4 BMS-MP and Denso XXX-8591A-XX ECUs thanks to the latest ECM Titanium Driver updates.

BMW F800GS and Yamaha MT-09: two different takes on the concept of a naked bike, both designed to deliver full riding enjoyment. Whether you’re riding mountain roads, navigating city traffic, or having fun on a mixed route, these bikes are built to be versatile, accessible, and ready for anything.

The BMW F800GS, especially in the 35kW versions, is perfect for new riders or those seeking a well-balanced bike for long trips. Its twin-cylinder engine provides solid mid-range performance, and its “adventure” chassis ensures stability and comfort, even on rough surfaces. The Yamaha MT-09, with its CP3 three-cylinder engine, is one of the most popular naked bikes for dynamic road riding. Agile, responsive, yet manageable and intuitive—this bike blends character and technology for riders who want fun without complexity.

Different bikes, same goal: exciting riding, every time. With the new ECM Titanium Drivers, tuners gain access to advanced tools to further enhance the riding experience.

ECUs targeted by this development:

  • Bosch ME17.2.4 BMS-MP
  • Denso XXX-8591A-XX

Why does this update make a difference?

The new Drivers extend the calibration capabilities of both bikes. For the F800GS, the driver unlocks full power in 35kW versions, providing access to key maps for safe and complete performance. For the Yamaha, the update adds advanced features like disable options and fine-tuning parameters, ideal for road, track, or dyno use.

For BMW F800GS:

  • THROTTLE
  • CALCULATED TORQUE
  • WHEEL SIZE

Throttle: manages throttle opening. In 35kW versions, it’s often limited to 50%. By setting it to 100%, full power is restored.
Calculated Torque: controls engine torque output, limited in derated versions. It can be optimized for smoother, fuller delivery.
Wheel Size: essential for traction control and anti-wheelie systems. Properly setting the wheel values ensures optimal control based on real configuration.

For Yamaha MT-09:

  • DTC DELETES
  • COOLING FANS
  • FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR
  • IMMOBILIZER
  • YCCI – YAMAHA CHIP CONTROLLED INTAKE
  • TRACTION CONTROL – ALLOWED WHEEL SPIN
  • OVERRUN CUT-OFF

DTC Deletes: includes maps for disabling exhaust valve, lambda sensor, and SAI system—useful for racing or aftermarket setups.
Cooling Fans: complete control over fan activation/deactivation temperatures to keep the engine at its best.
Front Wheel Speed Sensor: disables front wheel speed reading during dyno tests to prevent power cuts.
Immobilizer: option to disable the immobilizer system—ideal for race bikes with aftermarket dashboards.
YCCI: allows adjustment of the intake system activation RPM for optimized performance.
Traction Control: customize TCS maps for more or less intervention.
Overrun Cut-Off: manage deceleration cut-off for effects like pops & bangs or smoother decel response.
