VolvoCarTool (VCTS) is a programming tool for Volvo vehicles using the SPA platform. It works with the module based VCTS Instruments software. The modules are to be purchased separately.

Available modules:

• MVBM License: errors reading and reset, CRASH RESET on the bench;
• HCM(L/R) License: HCM reading/writing in the BENCH mode (on the bench without opening the unit), change of the light working side, linking the unit according to the factory number on the light sticker;
• BSCM Repair License: errors reading and reset, CRASH RESET via OBD;
• SRS TMS570 License: CRASH DATA erasing in SRS unit (connection both on the bench and via OBD);
• CEM Configuration(R/W) License: CEM configuration reading/writing, VIN-based configuration database included;
• Key functions License: adding/deleting keys via OBD-II using the VCTS adapter connected to the PC;
• Diagnostic Service License: diagnostics and service functions;
• Mileage Editor License: mileage reset and correction in ABS, CEM, DIM, ECM, SRS, VCM. The VCTS adapter must be connected to the computer. The license works only with the files and makes changes to them. Connection to the vehicle is not needed;

You can work both via OBDII and on the bench using the bench cable from the kit. Connection diagrams can be found in the software.
