Diagnostic interface for DAF compatible with DAVIE XDc II.
DAF products are reliable and highly technological, featuring numerous electronic systems. Repairs require specialized tools and equipment. Repairing a DAF without modern equipment is complex and ineffective.
The diagnostic adapter (compatible with VCI 560) is designed for use with the DAVIE HDc II software, enabling a full range of diagnostic and maintenance services for DAF trucks.
The DAF DAVE scanner supports DAF vehicles manufactured from 2001 to 2019, including older models diagnosed via the K-line and newer models diagnosed via the CAN-link. The device includes a full-featured multiplexer and recognizes ignition status.
The DAF DAVIE XDc II is the original, dealer-grade DAF diagnostic system. It consists of a laptop and the Vehicle Diagnostic Interface (VCI). The program operates on two main methods:
The "Direct Test" function is primarily used
to interrogate and erase faulty ECU memory, as well as to check various inputs and outputs, depending on the selected test procedures. This function should also be used for programming and calibration.
The "Guided Diagnostics" function is primarily used to identify faulty components. While the "Direct Test" function is designed for programming, calibrating, or directly testing specific components, "Guided Diagnostics" checks only faulty elements.
When is "Guided Diagnostics" used?
When a fault needs to be confirmed without replacing parts by trial and error
When the faulty component is unknown
When you are not familiar with the vehicle's operation
If the fault status (active/inactive) is unknown, you can diagnose it based on symptoms.

The interface developed by our company is fully compatible with the original software version 5.6.1 (Runtime V95.00, PRS V19.04F0) released in February 2019.
Technical support is limited and may not be possible.
This software suite is designed for independent service centers.
It is used for:
- Generating programming passwords for new and damaged modules
- Calculating a password for restoring the speed limiter
- Creating a computer SERVICE code (additional Davie user functions)
The main difference from similar programs (DAF crash code generator and DAF DAVIE DEVELOPER TOOL) is the use of an analytical code generation algorithm, without the need for a connection to the vehicle (allowing codes to be generated for dead modules and remotely).
