Welcome MC3!
MC3 is a complete tool for automotive solutions. It allows programming via OBD, Bench and Boot and is available in Master & Slave version. It grants access to EEPROM & Micro via OBD, BOOT and BENCH MODE. It can do checksum correction before writing.
ABS: It allows you to restore the original state of the ABS control unit, the connection is made by pinout.
Airbag: It allows you to restore the original state of the Airbag control unit, the connection is made by pinout.
ADAS: It allows you to restore the original state of the Adas control unit, the connection is made by pinout.
Body/BSI: Allows you to read/write body computer/BSI via pinout.
Cluster: Reading, writing and configuring the dashboard Eeprom, the connection is made via OBD or pinout.
EPS: Allows you to read and set the correct status of the steering column, the connection is made via OBD or pinout.
ECU Bench: Allows you to read/write engine control units on the Bench. It is necessary to remove the ecu and connect it from the front socket.
ECU OBD & Boot: The ECU package includes reading/writing of engine control units in OBD and Boot Mode.
MC3 requires subscription. If you do not renew it, the tool will still work, you will not receive technical support or the software updates.
Is MC3 a master or slave instrument?
It’s a stand alone tool so it works like a master. Upon request you can purchase slaves and create your own network.
Requirements for MC3
MC3 does not require particular hardware specifications but it is necessary to have at least Windows 7 or higher, a stable connection and Windows Update active and completely updated. If the characteristics are not satisfied there is a risk of losing 1 license in case of software problems.
How many installations are allowed?
You will be able to install the software on up to 2 computers at the same time. If you need new installations you can contact support for the new activation.
What to do if you lose your MC3?
It is necessary to immediately contact the support and possibly file a complaint for the loss/theft of the software and hardware.
Subscription: customers are asked to pay maximum 2 license renewals, even if they have more than 2 packages. You need to pay for the more expensive ones.
