New Trasdata is a unique tool supporting all microprocessors utilized by any kind of vehicles in the Automotive field, for reading and programming operations in JTAG, BDM and BOOT mode.

New Trasdata allows the reading and programming of the whole content of the ECU: microprocessor (CPU), flash EEPROM and serial EEPROM. A wide variety of operations is therefore supported: after the initial reading, it is always possible to retrieve the original ECU content even in the case of blocking (back-up). The tool also performs autonomous checksum recalculations. No physical soldering/desoldering intervention is required: a metal positioning frame is provided with specific terminal adapters that creates the connection between the ECU board and the tool. In specific cases, it is possible to perform reading/writing operations without even opening the ECU.

Specific functions conceived for the tuning field like the mentioned reading of the whole ECU files, or the self-identification of the engine maps and important additional parameters (even if located in different components of the ECU), confirm New Trasdata as the leading tool available today on the market for reading and programming bench operations.

Licensing
When purchasing a device, a licence for the required protocols is purchased at the same time. The basic version cannot function without licences and is not sold separately! Purchased licences are provided with a free subscription for protocol updates, software updates and technical support for one year. Thereafter, the subscription is renewed for an annual fee. New Trasdata is available in Master and Slave versions. To organise the work of several specialists (a network of representatives), it is cheaper to use New Trasdata Slave devices.

The support is provided by the developer directly.

New Genius is the stand alone device for the serial communication with the engine control unit (ECU), through the vehicle OBDII socket or via specific diagnostic connectors, supporting CAN-BUS, K/L-line (KWP), J1850 communication protocols.

Before programming the vehicle, New Genius verifies the size of the file and the checksum integrity/congruence. In addition, should the programming procedure be interrupted (example: connector unplugged), the device would recover the communication and automatically complete it. Several additional features integrate the conventional operations, like the possibility to reset faulty codes tied to the ECU programming, the reading and automatic writing of the injector settings, counters reset, etc.
