KESS3 Protocols Releases
17.07.2026 — Upgrade 3.35
KESS3 expands its coverage of Korean vehicles available in the main global markets with the release of new protocols dedicated to Kefico CPEGD3.20.1 and CPEGP3.20.2 ECUs.
The release covers numerous Hyundai and Kia applications equipped with 1.0 and 1.2 MPI and 1.0, 1.5 and 1.6 T-GDI petrol engines produced from 2020 to the present, including sports versions.
It is now possible to work in OBD mode or in BENCH mode with KESS3, without opening the ECU and with a direct connection to the connector. Workshops can therefore choose the connection type best suited to the operation with greater flexibility.
The benefits for everyday work:
- Reading and writing in both OBD and BENCH
- greater flexibility according to the vehicle and the operation
- fast and effective reprogramming management
- more opportunities to work on MPI and T-GDI engines
The protocols are already available to KESS3 users with CAR OBD and CAR BENCH/BOOT activations and an active subscription.
