This is a very powerful special function used for parts adaptation and modules synchronization. It works both for immobiliser data related modules and modules related to component protection synchronization. Supported brands are Volkswagen/Audi/Seat/Skoda/Bentley/Lamborghini, and even some Porsche vehicles.

Immobiliser data related modules
Using VN002 you will be able to read/update IMMO data (PIN, CS, MAC), which lets you adapt used modules to a vehicle. The following units are covered:

• Engine Control Units (ECUs)

Component protection
There are other modules that do not require IMMO data adaptation, but require component protection synchronization. Without this synchronization, the modules work with limited functionality (e.g. intermittent sound from radio). These modules can be grouped as follows:

The VN007 is one of very few solutions for mileage recalibration of the MQB platform-based vehicles, equipped with VDO/Continental dashboard*.

The VN009 allows key programming for the MQB platform. You can program brand-new keys and remote controls from the OEM manufacturer, when at least one working key is present, and the vehicle is equipped with VDO/Continental non-virtual dashboard.

Abrites solution for VAG component protection offers support for more Audi and Volkswagen models. The VN017 allows:

• Read/Update component protection bytes of Lear Gateway
• Replacement of all component protection-related modules, if both the donor and host gateways are present.
• Replacement of the dashboard - by OBD (no need of the donor gateway, also the original dashboard is NOT required)
• Replacement of the infotainment module - by OBD (no need of the donor gateway, also the original infotainment module is NOT required)

This functionality allows you to read the component security bytes (CS) from locked BCM2 modules 2013-2018 for both A4/A5/Q5 and A6/A7/A8/Touareg platforms. These CS bytes are then used for key programming.

Functionalities:

• reading component security bytes from locked BCM2 modules
• all keys lost key programming
• adding spare key

Supported models:

• A4/A5/Q5 vehicles 2008-2016 - all keys lost

An AVDI and AMS are required.

The VN021 license allows extracting the Immobilizer data from dump of RH850 processors, used in VAG MQB dashboards with Megamos-AES keys. Upon reading the RH850 processor using the ABRITES Programmer, CS, MAC, Keys, and PowerClass information is visualised in the software.
Using the VN021 you can write Immo Data and the mileage onto VAG MQB dashboards with RH850 processors. This means unlimited reading and writing abilities for all types of RH850 processors in VAG MQB dashboards using the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer. It is also valid for V850 processors.
This data can then be used for adding a spare key to the vehicle. It can also be used to exchange the instrument cluster, which requires extracting Immo data from both the replacement module, and the donor one.
This functionality is ideal for dashboard exchange and retrofitting purposes! The VN021 allows you to exchange analogue for digital dashboards in vehicles equipped with dashboards using RH850 and V850 processors.

This license will be enriched with additional functionalities, details will be announced soon.

The VN022 license is developed to work with the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer for writing mileage data in non-ImmoV dashboard odometers. This functionality is suitable for VW Golf 8 generation vehicles, allowing the odometer calibration in Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and other VAG vehicles on the same platform.

Functionalities:

• RH850 processor odometer writing in Continental/VDO dashboards (not related to the Immobilizer)

Supported vehicles:

• VW Golf 8
• other vehicles from the VAG group from the same generation

(where the immobilizer is not integrated in the dashboard)

In order to perform the procedure, you will need the ZN085 ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer. When working with these processors, make sure to follow the wiring diagrams available in the software!
AVDI, active AMS and VN021 license are required.

The VN023 license is another lincense intended for working with the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer which allows changes the mileage in Visteon and JCI dashboads, equipped with RH850 processors. This functionality is suitable for VAG MQB vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and other VAG vehicles on the same platform).

Functionalities:

• RH850 processor odometer writing in Visteon/JCI dashboards

Supported vehicles:

• All VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi models with Visteon/JCI dashboard with RH850

In order to perform the procedure, you will need the ZN085 ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer. When working with these processors, make sure to follow the wiring diagrams available in the software!
AVDI, active AMS and VN021 license are required.

The VN024 license is the ONE and ONLY solution for programming car keys to Immobilizer 5C generation vehicles from VAG group. The procedure allows adding a spare key for VDO dashboards with RH850 processors (crypto-core) and at least one working key.

Functionality:

• Spare key addition for VAG Immo 5C vehicles with HiTag-Pro keys

Supported vehicles:

• All VAG vehicles with Hitag-Pro key and VDO Dashboard with immobilizer

The Full Mercedes-Benz cars package includes the MN030, MN032, MN033, MN034, MN035, and MN037, licenses. Below you can see what each one of them covers as functionalities.

The MN037 license allows you the unprecedented ability to calibrate IC177 clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This software license does not affect the EZS module and is much safer and easier to use. The EZS module is not even necessary when performing the procedure, all the work is done on the IC177 cluster.

Functionality:

• Adjust the mileage value in the IC177 dashboard
• Block the synchronization of the mileage with the EZS module

MN035 VGS4-NAG2 FBS4 virgin/personalization via ABPROG license is dedicated to work with VGS4-NAG2 7G-Tronic TCU of the FBS4/DAS4 generation.

Functionalities:

• Read FBS4 data from VGS4-NAG2 modules with the help of ABPROG
• Set VGS4-NAG2 modules to virgin state using ABPROG
• Write FBS4 personalization data to the TCU using ABPROG. Writing is also available via the internal CAN-BUS for owners of MN034

ZN030 ABPROG programmer, AVDI, and Active AMS are required!

The MN034 FBS4 Personalization Expert license allows easy personalization of ALL virgin modules from the FBS4 generation of Mercedes DAS (Drive Authorization System).
Personalization expert practically has no limitations in its coverage! It was designed to work with and build on the MN032. For this reason, they are meant to work together. Personalization is done by internal CAN- BUS of the control modules. Indeed, the same simple personalization is possible for DSM and VGS modules too with no need to open the module or connect a programmer.
NB! DSM and VGS4-NAG require previous virginization on bench using AVDI and ABPROG due to specifics in manufacturing.
Personalization Expert exceeds all current knowledge and overcomes problems plaguing the diagnostic world for nearly a decade.

Here is why MN034 is truly special:

• No exceptions in the production range of control modules. No more troubles and restrictions caused by production year changes and manufacturer limitations. MRD1, MRG1, CRR2, EMS71, VGS4NAG2 (requires to be made virgin prior to adaptation), DSM (requires to be made virgin prior to adaptation), Electric Motors, Hybrid Motors, etc. all by internal CAN bus.
• Our personalization expert eliminates the problem when the old control unit is missing!
• Personalization expert generates a special FBS4 data and uses it to complete the personalization process.
• In its current, first iteration MN034 allows personalization of MED177, MED1775, MED40, CR40, CR41, CR42, CR43, CR60LS, CR61 ECUs via OBDII when NO PREVIOUS PERSONALIZATION DATA IS AVAILABLE!
• The list of supported control modules for personalization when the old module is missing will be updated continuously as we progress.

Currently MN032 and MN034 have partial restrictions for W223/W206 based models. This is still MN034’s first version. Our coverage will be extended for these models after we release an additional communication adapter for AVDI.

MN033 is dedicated to resolving a problem with the "ELV Component Fault" which is preventing the vehicle from being started and driven.
This is a common fault in the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL/ELV) modules. The MN033 enables you to clear the critical error which blocks the vehicle's electronic steering lock.
This function is performed with a direct connection to the ELV diagnostic line. It can be executed direct in the vehicle or on bench!

Supported vehicles:

• ALL FBS4 vehicles with ESL/ELV modules!

 
The usage of the ZN151 ABRITES Distribution Box is recommended for this license.

 

MN032 is Mercedes FBS4 software license, designed by Abrites from the beginning to be the world leader in terms of Mercedes-Benz vehicles module replacement, both for new and used control units.

Here is what you can use MN032 for:

• Read the personalization data from a FBS4 Control Modules and save it to a file

The MN031 license is developed by the Abrites team for procedures related to the vehicle's Immobiliser. This functionality allows various procedures to be performed on the Mercedes-Benz truck range of vehicles, as well as buses, based on the Mercedes-Benz platform, as well as Setra vehicles using Infrared keys. The ZN075 is used for password reading during key programming. In All Keys Lost situations the CB022 jumper cable is also required. The MN034 FBS4 Personalization Expert license allows personalization of all virgin FBS4 modules. MN034 allows reading FBS4 data via OBD (or internal CAN-Bus connection) and personalization with or without available FBS4 data.
This is a major tool for working with modules from the FBS4-generation Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The MN032 DAS Manager for FBS4 vehicles license is required to use the MN034!

ID Code box reset is made easier and quicker regardless of the presence of an ESL module in the car!
When a virgin ID-code box is installed in the vehicle, synchronisation with the ECU and Smart system is required, as well as a working key. The TN017 allows you to perform this synchronisation via OBDII.

This package contains the special functions HK010, HK011, HK012, and HK013.

Special function HK010 shows the development our team has achieved in terms of module neutralization. The users are now able to neutralize ECUs on bench. This will assist in any situation when adapting a second-hand ECU that has not been or could not have been neutralised beforehand, to another Hyundai/KIA vehicle.

Since this function is an update of special function HK009, customers will still benefit from that functionality when the donor vehicle is available:

HK010 shows the development our team has achieved in terms of module neutralization. This license will assist in any situation when adapting a second-hand ECU, VCU or another module that has not been or could not have been neutralized beforehand, to another Hyundai/KIA vehicle. The HK010 is a solution which saves time, money and effort, because it makes it possible to adapt used modules safely and quickly.

The latest update allows all owners of the HK010 to neutralize VCUs (vehicle control units) on bench for the whole Hyundai/KIA electric vehicle range!
When neutralizing the ECU or VCU on bench, you will need the ZN051 ABRITES Distribution Box, and the CB403 Cable set for direct connection.

HK010 functionality (PIN code of donor vehicle is NOT needed):

• Neutralization of the VCU (vehicle control unit) for all EVs on bench
• Neutralization of the ECU (engine control unit) for all non-EVs (petrol-powered, diesel-powered, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles) on bench (only for vehicles with smart keys or vehicles with external immobilizer)

ECUs with built-in immobilizer can only be neutralized via OBD (check HK009 functionality below).

Since HK010 is an update of the HK009 license, customers will still benefit from the legacy functionalities when the donor vehicle is available.
Meaning, you can do all of the following by OBD if you know the PIN code of the donor vehicle:

Legacy functionalities (HK009) via OBDII (donor vehicle PIN code required):
Capabilities for vehicles with a smart key:

• neutralization of the VCU (vehicle control unit) for all EVs
• neutralization of the smart system
• neutralization of the ECU (engine control unit) for all non-EVs (petrol-powered, diesel-powered, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles)
• neutralization of the ESCL
• neutralization of the PDM (for vehicles equipped with PDM)

Capabilities for vehicles with a mechanical key:

• neutralization of the immobiliser - this automatically neutralizes the ECU as well
• neutralization of the Smartra module (for vehicles that are equipped with one)

Live data demonstrating the state of the modules (neutralized/active) and the number of initialized keys is shown in the function window for convenience.
Please note that the keys might have to be relearned to the vehicle after installing a neutralised module.

This product requires an AVDI (Abrites Vehicle Diagnostic Interface) and an active AMS (Annual Maintenance Subscription). All users who own the HK009 special function are able to purchase the HK010 at a discounted price. Contact [email protected] for details and orders.

The HK011 is the latest solution for Hyundai/KIA by Abrites.
It is an update of the HK008 special function, which allows you to perform key programming, as well as PIN code reading nearly 100% of Hyundai and KIA vehicles.

An AVDI, active AMS and Protag Programmer ZN002 or Protag Programmer V2 ZN003 are required to use this product.

This license allows vehicle identification number calibration in new or used modules in Hyundai and KIA vehicles. Using this functionality, you can set the identification number of new or used ECMs/VCUs, dashboards and eCall (Telematic) modules, which is required for adapting them to a vehicle.

The HK013 extends the functionality of legacy licenses HK005 and HK007 for mileage calibration in the dashboard of Hyundai/KIA vehicles.
Using the HK013 license, you can calibrate the mileage value in the instrument cluster module in a few clicks. This is a very helpful functionality allowing you to replace a faulty dashboard with a new or a used one.

Some supported models require only work by OBD, but others will have to be read and written via the RH850/V850 Programmer. See a list below:

In order to complete the dashboard exchange and calibration procedures, the following hardware and software are required:

• HK005 and HK007 legacy software licenses, now part of the basic hardware, included in every AVDI with an active Annual Maintenance Subscription (AMS).

Special function JL006 gives users the ability to program keys to the latest JLR vehicles with K8D2 (with a disarmed alarm), JPLA and J9C3 RFAs.

The JL006 license works as a standalone function and no other key programming licences are required to complete the key learning process.
The AVDI, the PROTAG Programmer, a valid AMS subscription and the CB012 internal CAN-BUS cable set are required in order to use the JL006. Connection to the internal CAN-BUS is required and the vehicle has to be disarmed in order for the procedure to be successful.
