In this session, we’re going to learn how to remap “TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO 4000 CC V6 249CV with DENSO ECU” in ECM Titanium Software.
These models share the same engine and ECU as this car. So, if you learn how to remap this ECU model in this course, you will have no trouble to remapping the other models.

You can remap all 4000 CC 1GR-FE Toyota engines that have the Denso ECU by this method.
For ECU programming we can use KESS V2 and KTAG . As you can see, you can program all Toyota models that have the 1GR-FE engine via Protocol 517 virtually through the OBD port and using KESS V2. “Virtual reading” refers to the ECU's inability to read through the OBD port. In other words, you will have to download the original file from Alientech's database. To do this, once you have connected KESS V2 to the ECU, the device displays Software/ Calibration. Then, you have to download the file from the database we just mentioned and write it onto the ECU through OBD after remapping.
KESS V2 AND KTAG PROTOCOL FOR TOYOTA
If you cannot find the desired software/ Calibration file for your car in Alientech's database, you can directly read the original file on the ECU using KTAG. To do this, you can use several protocols, some of which you can see in The Programmers Article.
