A dedicated software update expanding our heavy-duty commercial vehicle coverage is now live on your equipment! The Motorola EMS S7 ECU powering Scania trucks is officially supported via 100% OBD Normal Read (NR) in Beta mode on your AutoTuner Tool.

This release unlocks direct diagnostic port access to Scania G, P and S Series models. It covers 8.9L (DC9 XPI) and 11.7L (DT12 HPI) engines as well as recent platforms such as the S 500.

Protocol Highlights:

• 100% OBD Method: Read and write directly through the truck’s diagnostic socket, no ECU removal required.
• Required hardware: To connect directly through the truck’s diagnostic socket, this protocol requires our dedicated AutoTuner 24V OBD cable.
• Stable power supply: A 24V battery charger such as the GYSFLASH 101.24 CNT is required to keep the vehicle’s voltage stable during the operation.
• Released in Beta: Your workshop feedback is valuable to help us keep improving this protocol.

Good news: OBD on the bench too!

This protocol also lets you work in OBD on the bench. You will then need to connect directly to the ECU using Bench cable for SCANIA S6/S7/S8.
