New possibilities for VAG group MDG1 Bosch ECUs: FLEX version 8.27.0.0 expands Korhex support to VAG group control units equipped with TC298 and TC299 processors.
Already supported through VFI — Voltage Fault Injection technology, these Bosch MDG1 control units can now also be unlocked using Korhex, following a procedure that reduces intervention times and avoids working directly on the PCB.
With the new Flex protocol, once unlocked the unit, the technician can proceed with read and write operations directly in Bench mode, simplifying the programming process further.
In order to use the new protocol, an FLS0.20 Boot Glitch license or a Flex Full FLS0.5 configuration is required.
