When you export a changed firmware file, you choose what happens to the checksums. Open Settings, the General tab, Firmware export. The choices are Do not recalculate, Ask on export, and Automatically.
If you have not saved a choice yet, the program asks before every export: Recalculate checksums before writing the file?Recalculate is already selected. A file with old checksums may not start in the control unit. You can cancel, and then nothing is written.
If you had turned recalculation off, it stays off. If you had saved it as on, export still recalculates by itself, without a question.
