You can download the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.

Direct link to 2.23 version d/d 10.09.2015

In the package with program you’ve got the USB-dongle which works together with the Chiploader software. In order to finish the activation process, do the following:

1. Don’t connect the dongle to the PC before you install the drivers.

2. Unzip the files from Drivers.zip which is located in the folder of the installed program.

NB!

  • in order to install the drivers in Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 you are to have administrator access
  • in order to install the drivers in Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 you are to tick the bar «Run the application as administrator» in InstWiz3.exe program. You can do it by right-clicking on InstWiz3.exe, choosing «Properties», then «Compatibility».

3. Install the USB dongle drivers starting InstWiz3.exe and follow the instructions. NB! If you already have any installed Senselock dongles drivers, you may skip this step.

4. Connect your dongle to the PC.

5. Start KeyManager.exe and press «Activate licenses».

6. Enter your PIN code received from the developer or the dealer and press «Activate». If the activation is successful you will see the message about it. Press «Get key information» to see the firmware version and activated licenses.

Chiploader is ready for work.

This program version functions with the latest dongle firmware version (you can check the dongle version in KeyManager). If the dongle firmware isn’t the latest one, ChipLoader will update it automatically.

As a user you don’t need to do anything else. It’s strictly prohibited to interrupt the update process as it can lead to the dongle damage. Please pay attention that if you use older software versions the program can reprogram the dongle with an older firmware version to provide full compatibility. It is advisable to update software on all PCs that you are using.

NB!

  1. The firmware can be updated only when the USB-dongle is activated.
  2. While updating the dongle firmware don’t interrupt the process and don’t disconnect the dongle from your PC. It can lead to the dongle damage.

Extra Modules Purchase and Activation

In order to purchase additional modules contact us mail@ecutools.ru and give the following information:

  • Dongle number
  • Your full name and, e-mail
  • Required modules

You can find your dongle number in KeyManager.exe, clicking «Get dongle info».

After payment confirmation we will send you a PIN code to activate the purchased modules. The activation procedure of the modules is the same as that of the program.

Chiploader Adapter Selection

Chiploader doesn’t have its own hardware to connect an ECU and PC that is why the user has an opportunity to choose the interface to their liking. In theory the software can function with any USB/COM k-line adapter, or in case of working through CAN bus with J2534 compatible device. However, some problems may occur while using the devices mentioned above due to their specifications. We strongly recommend to use k-line adapters of our own making specially tested to function properly with Chiploader. As for J2534 device we advise a reasonably priced and tested Openport 2.0 by Tactrix.

We do NOT recommend:

  • classic 2 transistor adapters.
  • various «fashionable» Bluetooth-adapters, characterized by unstable connection.
  • adapters based on FTDI analogues (Prolific, etc.)

clone homemade J2534 adapters.

The chip-tuning software ChipLoader is designed to program a great number of ECUs, both Russian (Itelma, Avtel) and foreign (Bosch M(P,E,D,G) 7.x.x, Siemens SIMK 31/41/43, SIM2K 47/140/141/341/D160/34VR, Sirius D3/D4/D32/D42, Simtec 7x/8x, Simos 7.1, MS43, EMS3132; Delphi MT20x/22/38/80, MR140/HW240; ACDelco IEFI6/ITMS-6F; Keihin with SH7058 processors, etc.). TriCore TC1762/TC1766/TC1796 processors support in BSL mode.

Chiploader is one of the oldest solutions for chip-tuning in Russia.

Standard configuration includes support of the following ECUs:

  • Yanvar −5.x;
  • Yanvar −7.2;
  • VS-5.1;
  • Bosch M7.9.7, M7.9.7+;
  • Mikas-7.1;
  • Mikas −7.6;
  • Mikas −10.3;
  • Mikas −10.3+ (Mikas −11)
  • Mikas −11 (GAZ vehicles);
  • VS-8; Yanvar −7.2+;
  • Kefico M 7.9.7;
  • Bosch MP-7.0;
  • Bosch ME 7.9.9;
  • Bosch M 7.9.8;
  • Bosch MG 7.9.8;
  • Bosch ME 7.1;
  • Bosch ME 7.5;
  • Bosch ME 7.5.10;
  • Bosch ME 7.9.7.

Other ECUs support is available through additional modules. It means that a user’s requirements determine optimum configuration at a reasonable price.

Chiploader is a good solution for various brands — VAZ, GAZ, UAZ, ZAZ, Daewoo, Chevrolet, Opel, Hyundai, Kia, Chery, Geely, Renault, Dacia, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, BMW, Honda.

Main features:

  1. CAN bus support through J2534 devices.
  2. Conversion into/from various formats (Simos, Peugeot307, Bosch EDC16, Bosch ME9).
  3. Enigma and Enigma 2 (SMS-Software) support
  4. Fetch protection (only for Yanvar-5.x, VS-5.1).
  5. Reading/flashing of dual-mode software (for ECUs with this function)
  6. Immobilizer removal (only for Yanvar-5.x, VS-5.1).
  7. Switch to diagnostic mode with automatic launch of the diagnosis program.
  8. User files processing
  9. ChipExplorer integration
  10. Increased functionality due to plug-in use
  11. Various firmware formats support.
  12. K-Line adapter testing
  13. Netbook use

Increased functionality due to external plug-ins:

  1. EEPROM dump file recovery of Mikas −7.6 memory
  2. Immobilizer information copying (Siemens 5WY, Sirius, Siemens EMS 3132)
  3. Software version definition (for Yanvar-5.x, VS-1, Mikas-7.x families)

The program uses USB-donglese which is included into the delivery package.

The ECU programming is conducted through an ordinary K-Line adapter (both COM and USB) or a J2534 device. The majority of ECUs allow programming through a diagnostic link connector, some support BSL mode and EEPROM programming.
