EcuFlash is a freeware project from Openport creators.
You can download the latest version from the official website.
You can download the latest beta-version and previous official and unofficial releases from EvoScan project website.
EcuFlash is distributed as freeware and can be installed and used by anybody at their own risk. Note that despite their status public beta-versions are rather stable and can be used to work with vehicles. We ourselves use the latest beta-version in our every day work.
The installation software contains all necessary drivers and libraries including Windows J2534 DLL which provides support for work with third-party software.
If you are going to use Openport 2 to work with third-party software only, you can download the drivers and J2534 DLL separately.
Openport 2.0 is a universal J2534-compatible adapter so it can be used with a wide range of software supporting this protocol. Nowadays Openport is an indispensable chip-tuning instrument as it is the most affordable adapter working through CAN bus! It is impossible to to tune a lot of ECUs without it: Siemens SIMK41/43/SIM2K-XX, Bosch M(G798)/ME9/M(E, D)17.x, Delphi MT80/MT38 (most Korean vehicles produced in recent years), many other ECUs (Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Honda, Toyota). It supports a lot of OEM solutions for reprogramming ECUs (Honda, Mitsubishi, etc.) and diagnostic software solutions of dealer level (compatible with Toyota Techstream), as well as diagnostics and logging software from third party manufacturers (EvoScan).
The OpenPort 2.0 is tuning tool hardware that is capable of communicating with a most OBDII compliant vehicles using a standard J2534 interface. Combined with EcuFlash software, the OpenPort 2.0 is capable of reflashing a large number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles.
We include a USB cable with each OpenPort, which is all the hardware you will need unless you have one of the few vehicles that require a separate reflash adapter. For Subaru you will only need a reflash adapter for the 2001 through 2005 WRX, but not STi, unless you are working on an early non USDM STi in which case you may need one of our WRX adapters. No other Subaru vehicles require reflash adapters including Forester, Baja, Legacy, or naturally aspirated Impreza models. For Mitsubishi, you will need the adapter for most pre CAN vehicles which include the 5-9 Evo. Choose the adapter you need from the 'Reflash Adapters' list below.
It has been successfully tested with the following software: Chiploader, MMC Flasher, Multiflasher, PCM Flash, Toyota Techstream and many others.
NB! We do NOT sell clone tools. This Openport is the original product of Tactrix Inc. Every customer is guaranteed to get all the updates including beta and technical support.
